200 years ago Keats had to act as ‘a Prevaricator’

Around this time (Sunday 7 November 1819), Keats visited Mrs. Wylie (his brother’s mother-in-law, if that’s not too convoluted a way of expressing it), where he had to play the part of ‘a Prevaricator’ (his word) as he wasn’t to tell the truth about George & Georgiana’s financial disaster.
